Shopper expectations of online spending habits compared to 2023 New Zealand 2024

In a survey conducted in February 2024 among consumers in New Zealand, around 21 percent of those surveyed said they expected to spend less online in 2024 than in 2023. Around 26 percent of respondents revealed they expected their online expenditure to increase in 2024 compared to 2023. Over half of all shoppers surveyed expected their online spending to remain about the same in 2024 as in the previous year.
